Job Description:
The QA Executive will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of packaged drinking water as per FSSAI, BIS (IS 14543), and ISO 22000 standards. Key responsibilities include:
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, BIS (IS 14543), and ISO 22000 requirements for packaged drinking water.
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to maintain food safety standards.
- Maintain and update all regulatory documents and licenses.
Quality Control & Testing:
- Oversee the microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of water.
- Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products meet quality standards.
- Monitor parameters like TDS, pH, turbidity, residual chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial contamination.
Production & Process Control:
- Monitor the RO (Reverse Osmosis), Ozonation, and Filtration processes for water treatment.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the plant and equipment.
- Implement and verify Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
Documentation & Record-Keeping:
- Maintain batch records, production logs, and quality test reports.
- Prepare CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports for deviations.
- Ensure traceability of all materials and finished products.
Training & Continuous Improvement:
- Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
- Implement HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles in the plant.
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards.
