We are looking for a QA/QC Manager for J R Foods & Beverages, Located at Chikhli, Navsari plant.
- The Candidate should be B.Tech/M.Tech/M.sc (Food Science/ Food technology/ Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology).
- Must have at least 5-8 years of relevant work experience in the Food/Nutrition/ Dairy industry or commercial testing lab will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Responsibilities: –
- Must have strong knowledge about the quality of both snacks and the beverage industry.
- Should have solid knowledge of chemistry, food science and their application to the food & beverage industry, advanced analytical instruments, statistical process control, method validation and data interpretation etc.
- Ensure all necessary quality tests are completed for Raw materials / Packaging materials and finished product ensuring non-conformance data is recorded, corrective action is taken.
- Ensure the Lab equipment’s calibration and maintenance.
- Manage internal and external audits in relation to quality, Hygiene and where required to implement corrective & Preventive actions. Provide reports and analysis where necessary.
- Maintain the quality document control systems
- Develop practices and procedures to prevent the incidents and consumer complaints and Food Safety breaches.
- Must have strong knowledge of ISO norms, FSSAI regulation, HACCP and food safety
- Manage the ERP data entry in time.
- Knowledge of business operations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), HACCP, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
Knowledge and Skill Requirements: –
- Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate others in a team environment.
- Must have good judgment, strong problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Good in analytical skills and must have computer knowledge.
